Grand tour of Syria ( 4 Night / 5 Day )

Day 1
Arrival at the airport of Damascus. We meet our guests there and assist them to the bus Drive to Damascus and view over the city from Mount Qassioun. Transfer to the hotel where a welcome drink is offered. After a rest dinner is served in the hotel. For those who are still full of energy a nightly walk through the city is the best way to end the day.
Day 2
In the morning a city tour is planned and we visit the Omayyad Mosque, the Azem Palace, the Tomb of Saladin and the Souk Hamidieh. In the afternoon we leave the city and the first stop is in Maaloula, where we walk through the gorge in order to reach the Convent of Mar Sarkis on top of the plateau. We continue our trip and drive to Palmyra the city of dates to experience the silence of the desert and the beautiful sky. Our guests camp tonight and enjoy a real Bedouin night with live music and dance.
Day 3
Like the Bedouins we wake up before sunrise. On the way to Qasr Al-Heer Ash Sharqi our guests see the sun rise in the desert, which is an experience in it sell. After visiting the castle we drive to Abu Ruji where breakfast is served in the form of a picnic. The rest of the day is reserved to visit the site of Palmyra. In the late afternoon those who want to walk to the Arab castle on top of the hill overlooking the site should start walking in order not to miss an incredible sunset. Of course it is also possible to go up by car. The visit of Palmyra has come to an end and we drive to Homs where dinner is served.
Day 4
It is only a short drive to Crac de Chevaliers and a visit of this Crusaders castle is more than worthwhile. Another site in this green and fertile area is the moderate city of Safita. We visit the tower which can be seen long before one reaches the city and which overlooks the region. It would be a pity not to go for a walk in this region and the most beautiful places for such a project are Mashta El Helou and Kafroun. In the late afternoon we drive back to Damascus and after a rest in the hotel our guests enjoy a farewell dinner.
Day 5
After breakfast we bring our guests to the airport for departure.
