Testimonials
Thank you very much for the very well planned and enjoyable trip to Turkey. Our
trip was well thought out, covered a variety of places in a very short period
of time (as requested), and very comfortable (excellent hotels and transportation).
We'll definitely recommend your agency to our friends in the future.
Sincerely,
Molina and Gaurov Dayal

DAMASCUS
CULTURAL TOUR ( 4 Nights / 5 Day )
Starting from Damas
Day 1
Our Representative
meet the guests at the airport and assist them there. The group and luggage are
separately transferred to the hotel. After arrival at the hotel, a welcome drink
dinner is offered. Dinner is served in the hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, the guests start their full day visit of Damascus, including
the National Museum, the Tekkiyeh Suleimanieh, the Omayyad Mosque, the Azem Palace,
the Straight Street, the Church of St. Ananias, the Window of St. Paul and a
stroll in Souk Hamidieh. A lunch break at the hotel is scheduled during the visit.
After the visits, the guests have some time to relax and refresh in the hotel.
For a typical Arabic animated evening, the guests are transferred to a nice Arabic
restaurant and enjoy the typical Arabic Mezze and grilled meat. The night will
be animated by singers and dancers.
Day 3
The day starts rather early and after breakfast the guests are transferred to
Palmyra. Upon arrival, they visit the Temple of Bel, one of the archaeological
masterpieces of Palmyra. After lunch, the participants the continue their visit
and discover the Arch of Triumph, the colonnaded street, the theater, the Agora,
the Senate and the Tombs. Last but not least is a visit of the Arabic Castle
on the top of the mountain dominating the site of Palmyra from where they assist
sunset. Down in the village again a Bedouin dinner is served under a Bedouin
tent.
Day 4
The guests leave the desert behind them and drive after breakfast in the direction
of Crac des Chevaliers. One notices that the closer one gets to the castle green
colours replace the yellow colours of the desert. The strategic importance of
this crusaders' fortress becomes evident once one overlooks the plain standing
on the roof of the castle. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. On the way
back to Damascus we visit the Convent of Mar Sarkis and the Monastery of Mar
Takia in Maaloula. After a short rest, farewell dinner is served in the hotel.
Day 5
